Past, Passions, Purpose Reports

My Passions and My Purpose:
      I love Photography and I love capturing things I see in an artistic and unique way.  I have a passion to incorporate photography into my career after college.  I would love to  have a studio some day to take portraits and display my work.   My other passion is ministry and students.   I would like to be involved with college students after college, I see a growing need for good communication between students and administration.  I would like  to work for a University like Northwest in this way.  I Enjoy working in my church's youth ministry and I am now stepping into a position of leadership as the photography team leader where I will get to work with students and staff to coordinate the use of images for sermons and promotional work within the ministry as well as display students work as an expression of God's gifts in their lives.


     My passions show my purpose in an amazing light for me.  I feel that God has a calling for me and that there are people in m life that  will be impacted through my interaction them.  I see my gifts and my passions as a tool given to me by God to be used for His glorification and ultimately to be an ambassador for Him.  Even though I may not be a ministry major I know that God can use me to touch those who ministry majors cannot.  In all I do I plan to do for the Lord.  Two of the biggest influences in my life would be my mom and my dad; their consistent support and love has given me a foundation for me to discover my talents and  passions and given me the strength to grow closer to my ultimate purpose in Jesus Christ


An Achievement:
     My biggest passion is for Photography and being a professional is one of my many goals.  One of the ways I am trying to make my dream a reality is by just doing it. I have been learning and studying all of the aspects of professional photography and putting them into practice.  I have just recently started photographing weddings and shooting engagement photos and the return has been very rewarding.  I find it hard to talk about, but the response of my very loving support group of family and friends was very positive.  With my initiative and the positive and encouraging attitudes of loved ones I am succeeding in my endeavor to become a professional photographer!  I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me and may all glory be to Him!
