My first life story is about when I started a Christian club at my school. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I impact people and this is one of the times in my life where I feel that I accomplish this life goal of mine.
The summer after my 10th grade year my friend Stefan and I had the idea to get a gathering of all the Christians at my school for a weekly bible study in one of the school’s classrooms. We would take turns speaking and sharing what the Lord had laid on our hearts in the past week, and we would get large numbers of students to attend our weekly meetings at two different lunches.
The next year my friend and I decided that we would take the gathering a step further and gain school recognition as a club. After meeting with the student body representatives and the administration we found ourselves official. We went on to sell concessions at football games and get recognized in the yearbook with bible verses in quotations. I was voted the Vice-President of the club and got to leave my high school having impacted the students in the name of the Lord.
