My sixth life story is about becoming an RA at Northwest University. During my freshman year at Northwest I started to feel called toward a ministry role at Northwest. At first I thought that that role was through ACTS the Northwest traveling drama group, but God closed that door for me and had something else in store. Shortly after the door closed I became aware of the need for RA’s and I eagerly applied. I went to meetings and interviews and got asked many questions about why I should be an RA.
Through being interviewed I became more confident that this was what God wanted me to do. I felt at peace and confident that I could do this. After a lot of waiting through the selection process I was informed that I had been selected. I was so excited to get down to business, God’s business. He had selected me for the position and given me a vision that he had for my role in his plan. Through the role I have now as an RA I am able to interact with student and minister through love.
